Forest City Rentals offers trailer rentals in Rockford, Illinois and the surrounding Winnebago County area.

If you have any questions about our distance and location limitations, please feel free to contact us.

You place the booking through our website, arrive at the provided location the trailer is stored at, unlock the trailer with the provided code, complete the pre-trip inspection and photos, hook your trailer up and go!

Once you return the tailer on time, put the locks back on the trailer and complete the end-trip inspection.

If available, Forest City Trailers offers delivery in Rockford, Illinois and the surrounding Winnebago County area. Please contact us to inquire about deliveries.

Delivery fee is $50 in the Rockford area and an additional $5/mile outside of Rockford.

Our trailers require a 2 5/16th inch (heavy duty) ball hitch.

Most vehicles have a manufacturer sticker inside of the driver's side door jamb that lists the maximum towing capacity. Always consult your owner's manual if you are uncertain about the towing capacity of your vehicle.

NO! The trailer GVWR is the weight rating of the load AND empty trailer weight combined. Carefully read and understand the trailer's weight capacity on the manufacturer sticker posted on the trailer.

Our cancellation policy as stated in our Terms and Conditions:

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be fair while protecting our schedule and equipment availability. 48 hours or more before your scheduled rental: Full refund. 24 to 48 hours before your scheduled rental: A 25% cancellation fee will apply (75% refund). Less than 24 hours before your scheduled rental (before the rental date): A 50% cancellation fee will apply (50% refund). Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule, we're happy to work with you. Reschedule requests made at least 24 hours before your scheduled rental will be accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability.

In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we may make exceptions at our sole discretion. By booking with Forest City Rentals LLC, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
